Ilfracombe bowling club is a mixed membership club founded in 1893, it is one of the oldest clubs in Devon. We have up to seven rinks on one of the best greens in the county and offer a warm and friendly welcome to both members and visiting clubs.

Our membership is around the sixty to seventy mark with most members playing regularly, we also have a number of juniors and we are particularly keen to increase our numbers here . We have competitions ongoing throughout the season and we participate in most of the section competitions we also have a number of county players.

We offer a well stocked bar and an excellent clubhouse which reflects not just our history but also the present day. In the winter we have short mat bowls practically every day we also have a full sized snooker table and can also offer 9 pin skittles, darts and cribbage. We are keen to extend our winter activities and try to hold at least one social evening every month.

Ilfracombe is a seaside town near Exmoor in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The town itself has a number of good hotels and guest houses and offers a wide range of activities other than bowls.
